Oakville International Curlers’ Gathering – Spt-Oct 2023 – Interested?

“It has now been 3-½ years since we played at the Edinburgh International Curlers’ Gathering (EICG), and we were preparing to travel to Edinburgh for another round in March 2020 when COVID suddenly changed our plans. Should EICG ever make a comeback, we will be the first to sign up.

In the meantime, since we have had so much fun over the years at EICG, we have decided to run our own “Gathering” at our own club in Oakville, Ontario. The Spiel is called the Oakville International Curlers’ Gathering (OICG) and is modelled entirely on the EICG. OICG is a 6-game spiel played from Friday to Sunday with a Kitchen Ceilidh party on Saturday night with live east coast musical entertainment. The Oakville Gathering is planned for Sept. 29, 2023 in the coming year.
