Congratulations to Bob Thomson and his Rink on their runaway, 6 points clear, success in the 2018/2019 Presidents mini league.
No mean achievement over an 8 match series. Curiously they actually lost their very first match of the series, but from then on, won their remaining 7 matches. A major triumph for consistency and skill.
Unfortunately for Mary, having made the commitment to play in the tournament well in advance of the ice scheduling dates, Mary found she was unable to play due to her other leisurely activities. The substitute players were as follows: Rory Davidson, three appearances, Bill Tennant, Drew Glaister and David Glennie one appearance each.
