CMP – Dinosaur_16 – Lanark Retains Dino

CONGRATULATIONS to Lanark CC for retaining the Dinosaur Trophy tonight.
A big ‘thank you’ must go to the members who represented the club tonight ie
Team 1:Martin Yuill, Miller Bowie, Bill Jackson, Alistair Mackintosh,
Team 2:Brian Stephenson, Anne Hood, Hugh Campbell and Jack Hood.
Team 2 began to pull away on the 4th end and convincingly won their game 10-3 – Brian skipped this rink.
Team 1 had a more demanding game and lost to Cambusnethan by 7-3.
However, the drama of the game was all at the last end because, as you know, it is combined shots that count and at the end of the 7th end both clubs were equal on shots (and ends). Both Lanark teams won the final ends thus securing the trophy for the club.
