Bonspiel Hozier Cup (Bowl) – First Silver
Well what a good start back for the Hoods et al to come back to , we won 7-3 against Coulter 2 giving us a combined total of 11up , second place were Lanark ladies at plus 4 all the rest were negative. We were fortunate to get our shots in and Coulter did not , Dorothy has wine for your team in her car and a smile that won’t come off for a while.

Today, Lanark CC competed for the Biggar & Upperward Hozier Cup. Two teams competed ie:
Team 1 (playing at 2.30pm) – Ian Reid, Jack Hood, Anne Hood and Martin Yuill
Team 2 (playing at 5.45pm) – Alistair Mackintosh, Gregor Noble, Dorothy Noble and David Glennie
Team 1 handed over a +7 score to Team 2 who capitalised on it by winning their game +4 shots up. Our total score was +11. LANARK WON THE CUP!!
In 2nd place was Lanark Ladies with +4.
Well done to the members who took part. May this be an omen for the rest of the season.
