SHR – Crookestone_18 – Bill Marshall’s Rink Wins This Season

Checking out the Running Table – HERE it came down to Bill and Ian Fleming’s Rink in the Crookedstone Final last night (even though Ian’s game against David Hall was snowed off). As it turned out it was a bit one sided with Bill storming away and unfortunately Ian just couldn’t catch him. Well done Bill and his Rink!

CROOKEDSTONE Winners 2018 – Alan Turner (Lead – sub for Jean Duff) Bill Marshall (Skip) Sandy Millar (3rd) & Helen Millar (2nd)

Running in-conjunction, we had our Closing Bonspiel, and this year’s winner was Arthur Divine and his Rink. Again well done Arthur.

Shareholders Closing Bonspiel Winners 2018 – Linda Balckwood (2nd) Arthur Devine (Skip) Bill Holman (Lead) & Richard Fergusson (3rd)

Unfortunately Drew Moffat’s Rink ended up with the ‘wooden spoon’ (well really boxes of sweeties).

And yours truly ended up in 3rd place with +2.

Following the competitions we retired to enjoy a well earned and scrumptious buffet courtesy of Stuart and his staff.
