INV – Cambusnethan_18 – Dino’s Off On A Sebbatical

Well we had a good run at retaining Dino over the past years. And indeed it was close run thing last year – HERE.

Initially, with Bob taking a 7 in the first end and a 4 in the subsequent end things were looking good with +11 going into the third. However on the other rink things weren’t looking so good. With a continual run of losses to accurate play by Alan’s rink which Lanark (on the evening) just couldn’t match – winning one end out of the 7 ends played and eventually loosing 2/11. (A reversal in fortune for Tom in which he beat Alan last year)

Douglas’s Rink started their fightback on the third eventually ending up a credible 11 against Bob’s 14, with an overall +6 on the combined scores, for Cambusnethan.

So next year let’s welcome Dino home after his sabbatical. No doubt he’ll have tales to tell of ‘being-one-of-the-boys’ !
