INV (AH) – Boswall Annual Bospiel_17 – Jack In The Winning Rink – Again!

Last Saturday (14th) saw Jack and myself taking part in Boswall’s Annual Bonspiel. It was great to meet up with well kent friends and catch up on the latest details on Boswall’s President – Wilson Heatlie and his current stay in hospital – following and intensive series of operations . Wilson has certainly been through the ‘mill’ but the outcome is looking good. We asked for our best wishes to be passed on from both Jack and myself and all members of Lanark. (Laterally – during the meal two  ‘get-well’ cards were passed about to add our comments and best wishes)

The Bonspiel consisted of an initial 4 ends then the wining rink moving to the next rink to play the remaining ends to the bell. And would you believe it as i n the last time we played (2015) Jack – playing third was in the winning rink with an impressive +10

And we look forward to playing Boswall  for the BOSWALL CHALLENGE CUP at Murrayfield (MUR) on the 20TH MARCH where we hope to retain the cup.
