OTH(JH) – Another Good Reason To Visit Traquair House

It’s always a pleasure to receive an interesting present out of context. And indeed this happened last night at my amateur radio club’s – WOSARS – Christmas party.

Many radio club members know that both Anne and myself are keen curlers and one – Pat 2M1CKE – for those in the know 🙂 visiting TRAQUAIR HOUSE  earlier this year noticed a painting by an anonymous 18th century painter hanging within one of the rooms in the house. With Anne myself in mind, he bought a postcard depicting the picture, which he duly presented to us last night.

So if you fancy a wee sojourn down Peebles way next year, why not drop in at Traquair and have a shifty at the original.
