PRB – Bonspiel_17 (Hozier) – LCC Remains Positive

Yesterday, Lanark as usual had two rinks competing in this year’s Biggar District & Upper Clydesdale Province (PRB) – HOZIER CUP.

The 1430 Session was skipped by Alistair Mack (AK) Alex Bryans (AB) Anne Hood (AH) with David Glennie (DG) leading. The final score saw Lanark unfortunately down by -1.

Following on at 1745, Ian Reid (IR) skipped the rink consisting of Bill Jackson (BJ) Fiona Main (FM) and Jack Hood (JH) against Lesmahagow. Getting off to a ‘shaky’ start the team soon settled down eventually winning with +2. So overall the Club was +1.

The winning rink was Dippool with +12 hammering Lanark Ladies who were well up from the first session and expecting to win (c’est la vie). Runners up were Coulter with +10.
