PAIRS – Latest – Anne & Donald Our New Champions

CONGRATULATIONS to Donald and Anne Macrae who won the Pairs Championship tonight.
It was a very closely fought final – Donald and Anne took one shot at the first two ends but Bill Jackson and Hugh Campbell took 2 shots in the 3rd end. After that, it was only one shot per end – both teams lost some shots but there were some lovely shots also.

Watching from the gallery, the finalists played all 7 ends which kept the spectators enthralled.
The Club decided to pay for the ice for the finalists…..the committee thought this would be a nice touch given all the rounds the players had come through.
