Fanackapan Final will be on Friday 23rd March @ 2000

CONGRATULATIONS to Hugh Campbell (aka Alex Bryans/Alan Sellars) : Dorothy Noble, Gordon Fraser and Jack Hood who won tonight’s other SF match.

The Final has been rescheduled to play on Friday 23^rd March but half the teams cannot make this date so it looks like we’ll need to reschedule again.

In Iain’s absence, I can only look at the ice that is available and will email everybody over the weekend but I’ll need a prompt reply so that I can try to secure the ice on Monday morning…….it may be after our prize-giving!!

At last!  We can now play the Fannackapan Final on:-

Monday 26^th March at 1215pm – (majority of players wished this day and time).

I’ve booked the ice with the ice rink so you’re ready to go…….

Bill Stewart will be subbing for David Glennie (Frank’s/Anne’s team).  I’m awaiting to hear from the other person I’ve asked to sub as Gordon is not available.

AND NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS:  I realised, when I cancelled down the ‘snowed off’ Glaister games for Wed 28^th March that this ice had been prepaid so I told the ice rink that the Fannackapan Final is one of our glaister sheets of ice – the other sheet of ice being handed back to the ice rink.  THIS MEANS THAT THE FANNACKAPAN FINAL HAS BEEN PREPAID – SO, THE FINAL IS FREE TO YOU ALL! 

Frank – I know I took a corporate decision here but we’ve been through hell with this competition that I think the members deserve it!
