THE LIR – WEST OF SCOTLAND LEAGUE

 

BACKGROUND

The West of Scotland League is an annual LIR Competition in which LANARK CC submits a team.  To accommodate all the clubs who wish to play in this competitive competition it is split into two Divisions A & B with A being the top Division. At the start of the new season  A is topped up from the top clubs in B being promoted and likewise the bottom of A being demoted to B. As the name implies it is in the form of a league played (usually on a Monday afternoon) throughout the curling season.
