NEW MONKLANDS – Challenge Trophy

BACKGROUND

The New Monklands – Lanark Challenge Trophy is played as the name implies between New Monklands CC and Lanark CC. It normally takes place in the second half of the curling season with a game per month played between three Rinks from each club with accumulation shots difference determining the overall winner.  HISTORY

In discussions between club Presidents and some club members of the two respective clubs into having more competitive curling it was decided to embark in the first half of 2007 upon a new competition The New Monklands/Lanark Challenge.
