The Boswall Challenge Cup – A New Interclub Competition

Wilson Heatlie (deceased) whilst teaching and living in Lanark, joined Lanark CC in 1994. Moving to Edinburgh to take-up a new teaching position; to keep his hand (slide) in, Wilson joined Boswall CC – curling out of MURRAYFIELD, Edinburgh. Although now living in Edinburgh, he continued to support Lanark; travelling through to Hamilton, to play in various competitions.

Playing for both Clubs, Wilson was keen to promote interclub activities (including an invitation to Boswall NEW YEAR Bonspiel) and a new competition – The Boswall Challenge Cup; playing for the JOHN ROSS TROPHY.
