LIR – Cambusnethan Cup_18 – Lanark Plays Off in The Final

2018 Winners – David Hall, Steven Hall, Callum Hall, Miriam Hall

On Sunday 14th January 2018 12 teams participated in the annual CAMBUSNETHAN CUP – sponsored by the CAMBUSNETHAN CLUB.  We all played 3 x 4-end games using the SCHENKEL System.  Great fun was had by all – with David Hall’s team and Lanark CC – AH, JH, Jim Morrioson, FC playing for the cup in the final session.

Lanark lost 3 in the first end but nearly pulled it back in the 2nd end but the skip’s last stone just clipped off the front stone winning the end for Lanark but only with one stone.  Lanark won the 3rd end and with all to play for it was David Hall’s team who emerged as victors. Congratulations to David and his team.

Lanark finished 4th overall with Robert Tait’s team coming through the Schenkel System to finish in 2nd place.

There was a really good atmosphere and it was delightful to see several youngsters playing.
