LCC (JH) – New Monklands_17 – We Won – Yippee – But It Was Down To One Final Stone

07/03/17 – JH – And it came down to one last final shot from Bob (BT) in his final end. More to follow.

07/02/17 – JH – Not quite on our winning ways last night with only one of our rink’s winning – which fortunately for myself was my own rink. Well done team!

So it comes down to the last set of games with Lanark having to win two to be outright winners. And anyway it keeps the competition – interesting – doesn’t it?

10/01/17 – JH – Last night saw this season’s NEW MONKLANDS CHALLENGE off to a good start with Lanark’s three rinks winning their games.

Personally. My own rink had a very close and thoroughly enjoyable game against Willie Watson and his rink. Willie proved pretty deadly with his stick deliver along with the rest of his rink, giving as good they got, resulting in a nip-and-tuck game, which was reflected in the final score. Good one!

So onward to the next round on the 6th February.
