LCC – Fanackapan_17 – Changes For 2016/17 Season

Following discussion at our AGM, it was decided to try a new format for the Fannackapan competition.

The Fannackapan will retain its format of allowing members to ‘play up the rink’, and esp for aspiring new skips and thirds, but this year we will try to:

  1. Have experienced skips playing third to provide advice/support and/or
  2. Having experienced skips simply giving advice/support to both aspiring skips on the ice. These skips will not be team members.

This means that we need to know which members are willing to participate within the Fannackapan so that we know how many rinks there will be (and, subsequently, what ice to book). Ice must be booked by 20th April so, your earliest response, would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please let me know if you are willing to, or not willing to, play in the Fannackapan by return please? We’re holding a committee meeting on 18th April so I do need this information prior to this date.
