COMPETITIONS – Globe Trotting Dinosaur’s Back Home

12/03/15 – AH – Lanark held its annual match against Cambusnethan on Thursday 12^th March with two teams representing each club. For the first time we were playing for the DINOSAUR TROPHY and I am delighted that Lanark won the ‘beastie’.

Bob Thomson, Bill Jackson, Gregor Noble and Frank Caddell got off to a flying start before Cambusnethan began to kick-back. However, they held their nerve and finished with a 11-2 finish.

Brian Stephenson, Anne Hood, Jack Hood and Hugh Campbell had a much tighter game with the first four ends only being one with one shot. However, Lanark managed to pull ahead and hung on to its lead – finishing 5-4.
