NEW MONKLANDS – Challenge – A ‘Done’ Deal? – Almost Snow Stopped Play

03/03/15 – JH Just as well we had pulled through to win the competition in the first two months as a wee matter of snow got in the way for some of us. A late fall on the afternoon of the competition compounded with poor gritting from certainly one Local Authority caused chaos on certain dubious routes to the ice rink. This resulted in more of a ‘bounce’ match with Brian Stephenson the only Lanark skip with a complete rink.

Anyway those that did make enjoyed the more convivial game and ‘sany’s afterwards.
